Frank Ryan, a financial advisor with Ryco Financial in St. John’s, N.L, is the winner of the Knowledge Bureau’s 2020 Distinguished New Advisor Award.

A geophysicist by training, Ryan joined his family business where he works with his father and brother, Darren, who won the award in 2016.

“Frank has a unique approach to applying his deep knowledge from a variety of fields of specialization to the outcomes required by his clients,” said Knowledge Bureau president Evelyn Jacks in a release.

Ryan will give a keynote address and receive his award on Oct. 28 at the Distinguished Advisor Conference (DAC), which is being held virtually this year.

The award is given to advisors who have been in the industry for less than five years. Winners receive a scholarship to the DAC.

“I am truly humbled to be considered in the same company as the previous winners, including my older brother whom I’ve looked up to for the past 30 years or so,” Ryan said in the release.

Advisor’s Edge and Investment Executive are DAC media sponsors.
