Toronto-based Franklin Templeton Canada is reducing fees on several Franklin Bissett fixed income funds, the firm said Monday.

Fees for the Franklin Bissett Canadian Bond Fund, the Franklin Bissett Canadian Government Bond Fund, the Franklin Bissett Corporate Bond Fund and the Franklin Bissett Core Plus Bond Fund will be lowered for various series on July 1 and July 8.

Fees for the Franklin Bissett Short Duration Bond Fund—formerly known as the Franklin Bissett Canadian Short Term Bond Fund until June 10—will also be reduced, a Franklin Templeton release said.

Additionally, series PA and PF of all the above-mentioned funds will be closed to new investments as of July 5 and closed to existing investments on Sept. 27. The series will be terminated and automatically switched into series A and F on Oct. 4.
