The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is hosting a webinar next week on its revised proposals for regulating titles used by financial planners and advisors.

FSRA is holding the webinar on June 1, as part of its ongoing consultation on its proposed framework to regulate the use of titles by setting minimum standards for use of the “financial planner” and “financial advisor” titles.

Earlier this month, FSRA launched a second round of public consultation on the proposals, which runs until June 21.

The webinar will cover changes to the proposed rules and guidance, the results of the initial consultation and the findings of FSRA’s consumer research in this area. It will also feature a Q&A.
