Goodwood appoints portfolio manager

Goodwood Inc. has appointed Gajan Kulasingam as lead portfolio manager of Goodwood Capital Fund, the Toronto-based independent investment management company announced Monday.

He will be principally responsible for day-to-day investment management of the fund and for the investment decisions executed on its behalf, Goodwood says in a release.

Kulasingam was formerly a vice president and senior portfolio manager at Sentry Investments and lead portfolio manager of Sentry Global Infrastructure Fund.

“We are excited that after a thoughtful 6-month transition period, Gajan will become the Lead Portfolio Manager of the Goodwood Capital Fund. We look forward to introducing Gajan to new investors as we grow the fund’s assets under management,” says Peter Puccetti, chairman and chief investment officer of Goodwood, in a statement.

Goodwood provides institutional and high-net-worth clients with alternative investment strategies.
