iA Wealth, a division of Quebec City-based iA Financial Group, launched iA WealthAssist on Wednesday.

The hybrid advice platform combines the services of an investment advisor with an online self-serve platform, according to a release.

“We are committed to equipping our investment advisors with the tools they need to offer a superior client experience and providing Canadian investors with independent, unbiased advice,” Carl Mustos, executive vice-rresident of iA Wealth, said in a statement.

Developed by Invisor Financial Inc. in collaboration with iA Wealth, the new platform enables investors to select goals, create a risk profile and plan their investments in a professionally managed portfolio, with the assistance of an investment advisor every step of the way. iA Financial Group acquired Invisor earlier this year.

iA WealthAssist is available to select clients of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc., with a broader availability anticipated in the near future.
