IIAC inducts three to Hall of Fame

Robert Bertram, Tom Bradley and Kim Shannon have been inducted to the Investment Industry Association of Canada’s (IIAC) Hall of Fame.

Bertram is the former chief investment officer (CIO) of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan; Tom Bradley is the chairman and co-founder of Vancouver-based Steadyhand Investment Funds Inc., as well as the former president and CEO of Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd.; and Shannon is founder and co-CIO of Toronto-based Sionna Investment Managers Inc.

On Monday the IIAC also announced the nominees for the IIAC Top Under 40 award and the winners of the 2022 IIAC Leadership in Excellence Awards.

Charles Martel, managing director and region head of Quebec with CIBC Private Wealth and CIBC Wood Gundy, received the IIAC Inclusive Leadership Award.

The IIAC Innovation Leadership Award went to Robert Girard, vice-president of marketing and business development with National Bank Direct Brokerage.

All awards will be presented at a ceremony on Oct. 27 in Toronto.
