Richard Rousseau will stay on as chair of the Investment Industry Association of Canada’s (IIAC) board of directors, a role he assumed in January.

IIAC revealed its board for the coming year on Friday, including the re-appointment of Rousseau, who is vice chair of Raymond James Ltd.’s private client group in Quebec.

Rousseau took over as IIAC chair from CI Financial Corp.’s Steven Donald, who left CI last year, a spokesperson said.

David Lang, global chief compliance officer with RBC, was appointed vice chair.

New additions to the IIAC board include Yannick Archambault, head of distribution for Canada at TD Private Wealth Management; Wilma Ditchfield, managing director at CIBC Private Wealth Management and Wood Gundy national office; Assante Wealth Management president Sean Etherington; Tim Evans, managing director, managed retail products, wealth management at Canaccord Genuity Corp.; and Simon Lemay, SVP and national sales manager at National Bank Financial.
