Kathy Jenkins has been appointed chief financial officer of the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), effective May 1.

Prior to joining IMCO, Jenkins served as the managing director of corporate finance at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). Her other previous roles include senior vice-president and chief financial officer of global wealth management and insurance at Bank of Nova Scotia, and vice-president of retail, wealth and infrastructure finance at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Jenkins succeeds Michel Paradis, who is retiring. She reports to Bert Clark, IMCO’s president and CEO.

Correction: An earlier version of this article stated in the headline that Kathy Jenkins was named CEO. She has been appointed CFO.
