Manulife Financial has added a simple-issue policy to its CoverMe life insurance product suite.

It says the new insurance plan can be purchased online or over the phone, with applicants only having to answer two medical questions. The plan is a 10-year term product that offers benefits of either $50,000 or $75,000.

It was designed for “Canadians who are looking for ease and affordability in their life insurance plans,” says Bob Doyle, director of strategic marketing at Manulife Financial. “We guarantee premiums won’t increase for 10 years.”
