Michael Garofalo joins Bridging Finance as CFO

Michael Garofalo has been appointed chief financial officer of Toronto-based alternative credit investment manager Bridging Finance Inc.

Garofalo, who has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, previously served as senior director at KPMG Canada. He was also audit director for KPMG in the Cayman Islands and president of the CFA Society Cayman Islands chapter.

“I am thrilled to welcome Mike to the leadership team at Bridging Finance,” David Sharpe, CEO of Bridging Finance, said in a release. “I am positive that the combination of his past experience and strong financial rigor will be incredibly valuable to both Bridging Finance and to unitholders of the funds managed by Bridging Finance.”
