The OSC is looking to restaff the committee of dealers and fund managers that provides industry input on its policy work.

The regulator is seeking volunteers for its Registrant Advisory Committee (RAC), which is comprised of 10 to 12 members drawn from the various registration categories and business models that the OSC oversees.

The committee “serves as a forum to discuss issues and challenges faced by registrants in interpreting and complying with Ontario securities law, including registration and compliance related matters,”  the regulator said.

The RAC is chaired by the OSC’s director of compliance and registrant regulation, Debra Foubert.

Members of the committee serve two-year terms and convene about four times per year. Applications to serve on the RAC are due by Oct. 30.
