In fact, a new study by ConvergEx Group estimates the average courtship for traditional dating lasts 42 months, compared to 18.5 months for those who meet online. And when you estimate about $130 a week per date for couples who meet off-line ($100 for dinner at a nice restaurant and $30 for movie tickets), that cost balloons to $23,660 over the 3.5 years.
