Raymond James appoints new trust CEO

Jennifer Hodgson has joined Toronto-based Raymond James Ltd. to head up the investment dealer’s trust division.

Effective Sept. 28, 2020, Hodgson will take the reins as CEO of Raymond James Trust (Canada). The new executive will be based in Montreal and oversee all of the firm’s trust activities, including those of Raymond James Trust (Quebec) Ltd.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Hodgson was regional director of trust operations in Quebec and Eastern Canada for the Bank of Nova Scotia Trust Company (Scotiatrust). Hodgson has also worked in a regional trust and estate role with RBC Wealth Management Services.

Raymond James Trust first launched nationally in May 2020.
