Raymond James Ltd. has named Nadeem Kassam as its new head of investment strategy for the private client group, the firm said on Wednesday.

Kassam joined Raymond James in October as a senior equity specialist, according to his LinkedIn profile. He’s previously held investment roles with RBC, CIBC, Deutsche Bank and Citi.

In his new role, Kassam will share market insights to help advisors with their portfolio solutions, a release from Raymond James said.

“Nadeem has a wealth of experience supporting the advisory channel and is a significant addition to our group,” said Christopher Cafley, Raymond James’ senior vice-president of investment strategy, products and trading, in the release.
