RBC iShares adds to its sustainable ETF shelf

RBC iShares has introduced three new sustainable ETFs, expanding its lineup of products that consider sustainability-related risks.

The three funds — which include the iShares ESG MSCI Canada Leaders Index ETF, iShares ESG MSCI USA Leaders Index ETF and iShares ESG MSCI EAFE Leaders Index ETF — are managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. They have annual management fees of 0.15%, 0.20% and 0.25%, respectively.

The ETFs to track indices that are designed to provide efficient exposure to companies demonstrating more sustainable business practices relative to their industry peers.

“These new funds deliver more choices to help clients meet their own individual sustainability and portfolio objectives,” said Steven Leong, head of iShares product, BlackRock Canada, in a release. He also noted that RBC iShares has “the broadest range of sustainable ETF strategies in Canada.”
