Sprott Asset Management has name John Wilson as lead portfolio manager for Sprott Opportunities Hedge LP and Sprott Opportunities RSP Fund, effective immediately.

Sprott Asset Management has name John Wilson as lead portfolio manager for Sprott Opportunities Hedge LP and Sprott Opportunities RSP Fund, effective immediately.

“John is an experienced manager of long-short strategies with a unique track record of delivering strong risk-adjusted returns to investors,” said Peter Grosskopf, CEO of Sprott Inc. “We welcome his addition to the Sprott Opportunities team.”

Wilson recently joined Sprott in the position of senior portfolio manager, prior to which he was chief investment officer at Cumberland Private Wealth Management.
