Sprott adds to investment team

Sprott Inc. has announced an addition to its investment team, with Dr. Neil Adshead joining as a senior investment manager, responsible for the Exploration Capital Partners Limited Partnerships.

“We are pleased to have Neil join our team. We know he will make an immediate difference in our ability to invest our clients’ capital” said Rick Rule, chairman of Global Resource Investments and president of Sprott Asset Management USA Inc.

Adshead holds a Ph.D. in Economic Geology. Over the past 20 years, he has built an extensive network in both the mining and investment sectors. Prior to joining Sprott, Adshead was employed as a senior mining analyst since 2004 with San Francisco-based Passport Capital, where he was responsible for investment origination and tracking, trading recommendations, extensive technical reviews and project site visits.
