Sandra Parente is Managing Director of Advisor’s Edge, Conseiller, Investment Executive and Finance et Investissement, as well as of Newcom Mediaʼs Insurance Media Group. Sandra is highly regarded in the publishing industry, having held senior leadership roles for some of Canadaʼs best-known consumer media brands: Macleanʼs, MoneySense and Sportsnet. She is also the media chair for Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC). Sandra is a recipient of numerous customer-first and business solutions awards. Her achievements in product innovation include leading the development of the Macleanʼs Archive; the digital transformation of the Macleanʼs education portfolio; the creation of Canadaʼs Product of the Year program; and the launch of MoneySense events for investors. In 2020, she was named Salesperson of the Year at Newcom Media Inc.
Julia is known for creating innovative multimedia programs for her clients. Prior to joining the team in 2012, Julia worked in the advertising agency world for eight years, giving her perspective on the big ideas agencies are looking for in their media plans. This expertise was recognized when she received a Young Media award for her work on a campaign for Beutel, Goodman & Company Ltd. Julia also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
Kathy is National Account Manager for Newcom Media’s Financial Solutions brands. A forward thinking media professional, she has worked with some of North America’s top financial brands, recommending and guiding marketing efforts to build and execute multimedia campaigns that not only reach corporate goals, but outperform benchmarks. Prior to joining the team in 2017, she worked with the Thomson Reuters Media Group, where in 2013 she won the Vice President’s Award for event sales and in 2014 won Media Sales Rep of the Year.
Aline is a business graduate, with a background and in marketing and finance. After earning her degree from York University, she worked in the banking industry for a number of years prior to pursuing her passion for advertising. In her role as Sales Coordinator, she directly supports the Advisor’s Edge sales team in the execution and delivery of marketing campaigns, across both digital and print platforms.
