Does your client want to buy a castle? Well, maybe she can.

And it’s worth a thought, especially for those planning to invest in a New York residence, because it may actually be cheaper.

In fact, here are three castles that cost less than a New York abode, reports buzzfeed.com.

1. A 13,993 square-foot, 6-bedroom castle that sits on 24 acres of land in Midi-Pyrenees in France costs $1.6 million. This compares to a 1-bed, 1.5-bath 1,200-square-foot apartment on E. 30th Street in The Big Apple.

2. A $2.3 million castle in Normandy has 10-bedrooms and 8-bathrooms. Meanwhile, a 4-bed townhouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn comes with a $2.5 million price tag.

3. How about a 19th-century 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom castle in Vienne? It costs $2.6 million. Or, your client could choose a 3-bedroom, 2-bedroom house in Jamaica, Queens for $3.2 million.
