Buffett eyeing newspaper buy?

The Morning Call reports the “Oracle of Omaha” may be looking to buy — The Morning Call.

The third-richest man in the world seems to have developed a taste for smaller, community-oriented newspapers. “Allentown is our kind of place,” Buffett said when asked if Berkshire Hathaway had plans to buy the Pennsylvania-based paper.

Rumors are also swirling around the possibility Buffett also has his eye on Tribune Co. “We haven’t heard anything from the Tribune Co., but if the phone rings, I’ll answer,” he told The Morning Call.
