The company has filed a preliminary prospectus, still subject to completion or amendment, with the securities regulatory authorities in Canada for five ETFs. Read: ETFs fit the bill for fixed-income allocation The lineup, which includes equity and fixed-income ETFs, include: First Trust AlphaDEX Canadian Dividend Plus ETF: Provides exposure to higher yielding Canadian dividend paying stocks and offers monthly distributions. For additional income, the ETF will occasionally write covered call options on a portion of the portfolio. First Trust AlphaDEX U.S. Dividend Plus ETF (CAD-hedged): Provides exposure to higher yielding U.S. dividend paying stocks and offers monthly distributions.
