IAFE appoints head for 2013

Jim Virtue, president of PPI Solutions Inc, has been appointed chair of the Institute for Advanced Financial Education (IAFE) for 2013.

“I am both honoured and excited to assume the role of chair for 2013,” says Virtue. “The previous board of trustees has done an excellent job in preparing the institute for dramatic growth in membership, and I am looking forward to working with this year’s trustees to realize our potential.”

A resident of Calgary, Virtue has held various positions with trust companies and life insurance companies, including senior vice-president, finance, and regional vice-president of distribution.
