Read: OSC toughens IIROC sanctions on rep He was a partner with international law firms in Toronto and New York, most recently with Norton Rose Fulbright, where he specialized in the regulation of financial institutions and capital market transactions. As well as being a former independent director at IIROC, he was also chair of its Corporate Governance Committee. He has been counsel to the Toronto Stock Exchange. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Subcommittee on Securities Regulation and the Canadian Centre for Ethics & Corporate Policy.
