PwC buys Westmark Consulting

PwC Canada is buying Vancouver-based Westmark Consulting.

Westmark specializes in operational performance services, particularly in the public sector. Its founders, Haneef Chagani and Jie Feng, will join PwC’s Operations Consulting practice in Vancouver, with Chagani assuming the role of partner and national leader of lean services and Feng assuming a senior director position.

The purchase helps PwC keep up with client demand for corporate restructuring services. Westmark uses Six Sigma operations principles, and PwC has 30 lean practitioners across the country.
