Last night’s Super Bowl nail-biter was a cash cow for players, TV networks, advertisers — and Louisiana’s tax man.

Forbes.com explains almost all states have a “jock tax” requiring professional athletes to hand over a piece of their lucrative earnings to the states they play in.
