TD Asset Management, the manager of TD Private Funds, says Epoch Investment Partners will take over portfolio adviser responsibilities for the following funds, effective May 15, 2013:

  • TD Private U.S. Blue Chip Equity Fund
  • TD Private U.S. Blue Chip Equity Currency Neutral Fund

The bank acquired new York-based Epoch Holding Corporation on March 27, 2013.

There will be no change to the funds’ investment objectives, but the strategies will be altered since Epoch focuses on the ability to generate free cash flow and effectively allocate capital. The company says this represents the best predictor of long-term shareholder return.

As of March 31, 2013, Epoch managed approximately US$27.1 billion assets under management for clients globally, predominately institutional. staff
