Driscoll believes the volatility and uncertainty the markets are going through will present many opportunites later on. Countries have to work hard to stay focused and he is optimistic when it comes to the long-term forecast. “It is the companies that are healthy, it is governments that are going wrong,” he said. “They must have stable growth, a good balance and enough competitive edge to survive a recession,” he said when asked about his current investment philosophy.
