Get into the spirit of Valentine’s Day in a way only a financial professional or pun aficionado could with these economics mash notes.

Creator Liz Fosslien takes graphs illustrating well-known economic concepts or indicators, such as the S&P index, or marginal returns, and combines them with sentiments usually found on sugary heart candy.

“I don’t think you’re great, I think you’re fantastic, for what you’re supplying, my demand’s inelastic,” one note boasts.

Fosslien, who was an associate analyst at Leo Burnett, and is working towards a graduate business degree at Stanford, says one reader once emailed to say her graphs helped land a date.
