Global inflows into ESG ETFs steady in January

Global inflows into environmental, social and governance (ESG) ETFs are steady month over month, with US$730 million making their way into these investments in January, according to London-based research firm ETFGI.

Total assets in ESG ETFs and ETPs (exchange-traded products) were a record US$24.71 billion at the end of January, up 9.97% from the end of December.

December and November saw net inflows of US$679 million and US$856 million into ESG ETFs, respectively.
