Sun Life appoints head of business strategy

Sun Life Investment Management has appointed Tom Murphy head of affiliate development and business strategy, the firm said on Tuesday.

Murphy will be responsible for Sun Life Investment Management’s global business strategy for third-party institutional business, the firm said in a release.

Murphy has more than 25 years of global investment experience. He was most recently a senior partner at Mercer and head of its U.S. wealth business.

Sun Life Investment Management has over $47 billion in assets under management.
