congratulations on having the foresight to purchase this insurance!
my only question is pertaining to the usual 30 day wait “after diagnosis” before companies will accept a claim for a covered condition (unless its a partial claim, perhaps). Your article indicates you immediately submitted your claim and were paid out within 3 days. is that in fact correct? Thanks and good luck for the future!

From Pierre Ghorbanian, the author: “My policy did have a 30 period before the payout could be paid. I did wait a couple of weeks before actually completing the claim forms, and by the time the doctor sent the form back to the insurer, it was about 40 days from the the actual date of the heart attack. But it did take about 3 business days from when the doctors form was received by the insurer to when the claim was approved and benefit paid out.”
