CIBC Private Wealth Executive Director, Investment Strategy Group

Wincy Wong leads CIBC Private Wealth’s Investment Strategy Group. As the Executive Director, she is responsible for leading the team’s management of the Investment Strategy Committee’s Model Portfolios. Her role includes providing market insights and investment recommendations to CIBC Wood Gundy Advisors and their clients.

Prior to joining CIBC Private Wealth in 2021, Ms. Wong was Vice-President and Portfolio Manager for several large-cap dividend mandates at a leading investment management firm. She has over 25 years of industry experience.

Ms. Wong graduated with an Honours BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto. She is the Chair of the Investment Strategy Committee (ISC) Stock Selection sub-committee and a member of its Asset Allocation Committee. Ms. Wong is a CFA charterholder and a holder of the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential awarded by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
