Acuity blended into AGF Investments

AGF Management has announced it will fully amalgamate Acuity Funds into AGF Investments. AGF bought the smaller SRI-focused fund company in a deal that closed February 2011.

“We’re pleased with the progress made to date in bringing the two firms together,” said Gordon Forrester, executive vice-president, product and marketing and head of retail. “This amalgamation allows us to streamline our retail fund line-up under one banner and allows the Acuity investment team to continue to focus on their core strength of investment excellence.”

The firm says Acuity Investment Management will continue as the manager on their respective mandates and will continue to employ the same investment philosophy and processes.
