Adam Butler, Michael Philbrick and their team have joined Macquarie Private Wealth’s Toronto office.

Both senior investment advisors come from Richardson GMP where Philbrick also served as the Toronto branch manager.

Butler grew up in a medical family and has developed an impressive client roster of dentists and doctors. Philbrick is a former Hamilton Ti-Cat superstar who played for many seasons and won the Grey Cup in 1999. Together they have built a discretionary book of business that generates more than $2 million in annual revenue.

Their approach is based on the application of Behavioural Economics, Gestalt Architecture and other concepts. Their investment methodology is widely followed—their case studies blog has drawn more than 20,000 hits.
