Co-founder Lazaridis to leave BlackBerry

The Financial Times reports Mike Lazaridis, co-founder of BlackBerry, will be leaving the company.

The report notes the firm’s “revenue from continuing operations for the year ended March 2013 was $11.1bn, down 40 per cent from $18.4bn in 2012. The company’s net loss from continuing operations for 2013 was $628m, or $1.20 per share, compared with net income from continuing operations of $1.2bn, or $2.23 per share, in fiscal 2012.”
