Cost of renouncing U.S. citizenship to quadruple

Have a client who wants to renounce his U.S. citizenship? He better file quick because he only has four days left to pay the current rate of US$450.

As of September 6, 2014, the cost is rising to US$2,350, reports globalnews.ca. The increase, says the State Department, is because that’s the real cost of processing an application.
