IFSE launches career resource for financial services sector

The IFSE Institute has launched an interactive career tool to allow financial services professionals to explore different jobs in the sector.

The educational arm of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada launched Career Pathways this week, which is organized into four categories:

  • Starting your career
  • Advice channel
  • Operations/back office and
  • Compliance

The tool allows professionals to explore various jobs in the financial services sector, a release said, with information including job descriptions, list of key skills or attributes, estimated salary range and recommended courses.

IFSE also created videos to show a typical day for some of the most popular careers, including a mutual fund advisor, a client services representative and an insurance agent.
