Laurentian VP awarded Aces of Finance prize

Stéfanie Pelletier, vice-president of Finance for Laurentian Bank, was honoured recently with an Aces of Finance Award in the Emerging Financial Executive category.

The Aces of Finance competition, organized by the Québec chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI Canada), is aimed at recognizing the professional accomplishments and social responsibility of exceptional financial executives. The competition is open to all CFOs and vice-presidents of finance in Québec.

“She has led one of the organization’s most important information systems and regulatory projects, and is an exceptional resource in both finance and strategic planning,” says Michel Lauzon, executive vice-president and CFO at Laurentian Bank.

Pelletier is a chartered accountant by training and a graduate of Université Laval. At Laurentian, her responsibilities include strategic and financial planning, the establishment of budgets, forecasting and profitability analysis, financial information systems, certification of financial statements, as well as control of the treasury and other corporate functions.
