Macquarie scores top talent

Macquarie Private Wealth added some well-known advisors to its team today.

Three of the new advisors joining Macquarie’s team in Vancouver are Martine Cunliffe, senior vice president and portfolio manager; Rory O’Connor, senior vice president and portfolio manager; and Tim Engelbert, vice president and investment advisor.

All three previously worked for Richardson GMP.

Cunliffe has more than 18 years experience in the financial services sector – including a stint as Regional Head and Executive Director of the UBS Wealth Management office in Vancouver.

Prior to joining Macquarie Private Wealth, O’Connor was a Director and Portfolio Manager with Richardson GMP for five years and before that worked with Merrill Lynch.

Engelbert is responsible for research inflows and analytics and helps build and manage client portfolios. He brings 12 years of global financial services experience, including seven years working in the financial services industry in the City of London, England and before that in the US.

Joining Macquarie’s Toronto office are Orser Neuhaus and Associates: Dorothy-Anna Orser, Portfolio Manager and Dietmar K-H Neuhaus, Investment Advisor. Ken Orser, marketing associate, and associate investment advisors Peter Frost and Gail Foster, will support them.
