Sentry Investments has named Sandy McIntyre as president of the company. He will continue to guide the Investment Management team as Chief Investment Officer

“As chief investment officer, Sandy McIntyre has assembled a portfolio management team that is recognized as one of the best in the Canadian financial services industry,” said John Driscoll, Sentry’s CEO. “In his new role as President, Sandy will continue to oversee the portfolio management team while providing leadership and strategic guidance to help further grow the company.”

Under McIntyre’s guidance, the investment management team received a TopGun Asset Management Team Award from Brendan Wood International in March 2010.

“I count myself fortunate to be supported by an energetic and highly capable senior management team, and am excited to help lead the future we are creating,” McIntyre said.
