Raymond James adds to Canadian research team

Raymond James Ltd. has made two senior additions to their Canadian research team to strengthen its mining expertise.

Industry veteran Brian MacArthur joins the firm as managing director & head of mining research, and he’ll specialize in precious and base metals. MacArthur previously worked for UBS Canada Securities.

Farooq Hamed joins the firm as senior vice president, equity analyst, and he’ll also specialize in precious and base metals. Hamed was most recently director and senior research analyst, North American metals and mining, at Barclays Capital.
