RBC Global Asset Management has named Guardian Capital has the sub-advisor of the RBC Private Core Canadian Equity Pool.

The name of the pool will also be changed to the RBC Private Canadian Growth Equity Pool, effective January 7, 2013. Though its investment objectives haven’t changed, the adjustment identifies its strategies and processes more clearly, says the bank.

Founded in 1962, Guardian Capital is the institutional investment management subsidiary of Guardian Capital Group. It manages more than $16.6 billion in assets, and offers equity and fixed-income management to pension funds, institutions, endowment/foundations, charitable organizations, mutual funds, and wealthy individuals.
