Scotia names new real estate pool manager

Scotia Asset Management has named CBRE Clarion Securities, LLC as portfolio advisor on its Scotia Private Global Real Estate Pool, effective on or about December 28, 2011.

There will be no change to the investment objective of Scotia Private Global Real Estate Pool as a result of the portfolio advisor change.

CBRE Clarion is a registered investment advisory firm specializing in the management of global listed securities for both institutional and individual investors. Headquartered near Philadelphia, the firm manages approximately $20 billion in assets and has over 80 employees located in offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.
