Sentry Investments has announced two appointments.

Lieh Wang joined as vice-president and senior portfolio manager in January, while Paul Johnson has joined as vice-president and senior portfolio manager as part of the global equity team.

Effective today, Wang replaces Michael Simpson as manager on the Sentry Growth and Income Fund, and he’ll also manage a new options sleeve for the Sentry Alternative Asset Income Fund. Meanwhile, Simpson will continue to manage the Sentry Canadian Income Fund and other mandates.

Also effective today, Johnson replaces Michael Missaghie and Gajan Kulasingam as lead manager on Sentry’s global and international equity funds. Johnson will focus on international equities while U.S. equity team lead Aubrey Hearn will join the global equity funds as a co-manager, to continue to focus on U.S. equities.
