Son of abused senior taking story public

The son of an elderly Peterborough woman who was physically abused in a long-term care facility is taking his story to TV’s Crowd Funder Show, reports the Peterborough Examiner.

Camille Parent’s 85-year-old mother was abused while at the St. Joseph’s at Fleming long-term care facility, and he caught it on hidden camera.

Now, he wants to raise money through the show to fund a campaign to pressure the federal government into taking meaningful steps to prevent a repeat of his mother’s ordeal.
