As Twitter usage grows, compliance officers are warning analysts about the social media site’s potential regulatory problems, says Financial Times.

It adds tweets posted by Internet trolls can impact the value of stocks on the market. Case in point: the value of stocks on the S&P 500 were affected when someone hacked a news agency’s account and stated the White House had been hit by terrorists.
