Franklin Templeton Canada is launching two new fixed income ETFs that invest directly in Franklin Bissett mutual funds.

The Franklin Liberty Core Plus Bond ETF and the Franklin Liberty Short Duration Bond ETF will begin trading Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange, the firm said.

The core ETF invests in the Franklin Bissett Core Plus Bond Fund, while the short duration bond ETF invests in the Franklin Bissett Short Duration Bond Fund. Both funds provide exposure to Canadian federal and provincial government bonds, as well as corporate bonds, debentures and short-term notes.

The management and administration fees are 55 basis points for the core ETF and 40 basis points for the short duration product.
