The amount of student debt in the U.S. has ballooned to more than a trillion dollars, reports bloomberg.com.

And this is the biggest risk to the credit market, according to Bill Ackman of Pershing Square Capital Management. In fact, experts are comparing rising student debt to the subprime mortgage market before the crisis.
