BMO launches new line of ESG portfolios

BMO Investments Inc. has introduced four new portfolios that seek to invest in companies with high environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings.

The BMO Sustainable Portfolios combine equity and fixed income ETFs designed to represent the performance of companies with high ESG ratings with actively managed mutual funds to offer risk mitigation and potential outperformance, according to a release.

The new offerings include the BMO Sustainable Income Portfolio, BMO Sustainable Conservative Portfolio, BMO Sustainable Balanced Portfolio and BMO Sustainable Growth Portfolio.
