CIBC terminates Latin American fund

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is terminating the CIBC Latin American Fund, the Toronto-based bank announced on Friday. 

Units of the fund are no longer available for new purchases, effective immediately. Unitholders can still redeem or switch their investments in the fund until end of day on the termination date, June 12, 2020, without any additional fees.

CIBC decided to terminate the fund due to its small asset size, according to a release.
